Re:Invent is a very fruitful (and hectic!) week, where partners, customers, and AWS teams gather in one place and connect. There is so much going on that week, so it might be challenging to decide how to maximize your time there.

There are many good guides for re:invent, provided by AWS Heroes, focusing on different topics: Serverless, containers, ML, Security, DevOps, etc.

In this “AWS Partners” guide to AWS re:Invent 2019, I share my experience on how to get ready for this week. Further, I bring to your attention some sessions that can help you get up to speed with the latest APN news and accelerate your growth with AWS. You probably won’t be able to attend them all in person, but these will be recorded and available for viewing shortly after.

STEP 1: Map the audience and schedule meetings

In order to get good results, you need to plan. Mapping the people that you would like to meet would be the first step. Map strategic leads and customers, AWS teams, speakers and partners that you would like to meet, and schedule meetings. On the remaining time (you should not have much of it), I would suggest attending a few sessions.

STEP 2: Attend relevant sessions

The main partner event during re:Invent is the Global Partner Summit (GPS), which will take place on December 4th, 2019. The GPS is open to anyone, however, if you would like to attend the breakout sessions, you will need to reserve your spot.
